Fact of the day: My cat appears to be in love with an African violet.
I feel rather stupid at the moment, as I was just telling Jess (yes, that's my friend...I got tired of typing "my friend" :P). I got locked out of my house. (Remember, we got the locks changed?) I wandered around checking windows, but gave up and sat on the backporch drinking root beer (we have a bottle out there....don't ask me why...o.O). My cat Tigger found me and played in the grass while I managed to avoid doing my hw, which I could very well have done (not having the comp and tv as distractions....heh), but I decided I'd rather prune my catnip plant. Tigger was happy about that. *g* I finally moved to the front where the sun was, and discovered, "Oh yay, the slider's open!" So I did get in after all.
Lunch was also rather, um, interesting. I happened to have an Easter egg. I had also had one the day before. Yesterday, while I was trying to peel the skin off after managing to remove the shell, my friends were convinced it looked like I was
petting the egg. 9_9 So, today, I made the mistake of bringing that up again, saying that I wasn't doing it today. But a certain
other friend decided that I had some sort of relationship with the egg. When I told her that all I was going to do was eat it, she burst out laughing. *
sigh* I like mayonaise on my hard-boiled eggs (salt's too crunchy :P), so this of course only added to the hilarity of the situation... Then of course we got around to teasing Jess about bunions (no, she doesn't have any....it's more of a
giant thing......heh heh heh >;) ). Don't I have an exciting life?? ^_~
